LAUNCH OF THE 2010 ACADEMIC VENUE SHOW
January 2010

The brand new Academic Venue Show website has gone live and visitors can now register online at www.academicvenueshow.co.uk to attend this free event which is being held on 12 May at the Emirates Stadium in London.

The theme for 2010 is ‘bright ideas for your next event' and the show will feature over 40 exhibitors from top UK academic venues and a captivating seminar programme. The team is also excited to announce that the keynote speaker for the event is Ruby Wax.

After three decades working on stage, television and radio, Ruby Wax has changed direction. She completed an MSc in Psychotherapy and a course in Neuroscience at UCL, and now runs workshops on creating a more direct level of communication with clients and colleagues. Her sharp brain, wittiness and humour help get her important messages across.

There are also two seminar sessions led by popular industry speakers Mike Lyon, Director of Write Style Communications and Peter Rand, Director of Industry Relations for Zibrant. Other highlights include special offers and promotions from exhibitors, a host of bright ideas for your next event plus the chance to visit a venue with a 'wow' factor all of its own.

Following a successful move in 2009, the show will once again be taking place at the stunning Emirates Stadium, home of Arsenal Football Club. The new show website contains details of the itinerary for the day including seminar times, location and access information, visitor testimonials, plus a DVD and images of last year's show to give visitors a flavour of the event.

VENUEMASTERS Chief Executive, Terry Billingham, commented; "The event theme is ‘bright ideas for your next event' and we believe we've got a great line up of exhibitors and seminars to support this. We're really pleased to welcome Ruby Wax as our keynote speaker. She's been making quite a name for herself at industry events and it promises to be an entertaining session."
