Kingston Hill plays Silent Witness
February 2010
Did you see Silent Witness on BBC1? If so, then you probably noticed Kingston Hill campus playing host to some very sinister goings-on.
In January 2009 the KUCEL Conference Office received a telephone call from the BBC Locations Manager, Natalie Brown, who was looking for a university site in which to film two episodes of Silent Witness. After various site visits and meetings Kingston Hill was chosen. In March a BBC film crew spent two days and nights on the campus and the result can be seen in a number of internal and external shots of the buildings. The Kingston University signs have all been changed and the LRC has been re-named as the Faculty of Forensic Science, but the buildings are still recognisable to those that know them.
KUCEL Conference Office would just like to take this opportunity to say ‘thank you' to Kingston's staff and students, KUSCO staff, Avenance, and especially the Nightingale Resource Centre staff members for their enthusiasm and co-operation during the filming.
