Future Looks Bright for Academic Venue Show
April 2010
The 2010 Academic Venue Show is all set to be full of bright ideas, with exhibitors offering a range of exclusive discounts and promotions to visitors plus there's a top line up of seminar speakers offering advice and tips for event organisers. The event takes place on 12 May at the Emirates Stadium in London, home of Arsenal Football Club.
Special offers from exhibitors include York Conferences who are celebrating their Ruby Anniversary of holding events. Any enquiries taken on their stand on the day will receive a fantastic 10% discount. Visitors could also be in with a chance of winning a ruby themed hamper including a ruby iPod Nano in a free prize draw. The London group of ten exhibiting venues will also be offering visitors the opportunity to enter a free prize draw for the chance to win £100 of High Street Vouchers.
In addition to speaking to representatives from over 40 top academic venues, including six new venues for 2010, visitors can also attend three industry seminars and gain CV advice. Complimentary hot and cold drinks will be available and it's all set in a stunning venue with a ‘Wow' factor all of its own.
The seminars are proving to be extremely popular with visitors registering to attend the event, including the keynote session by Ruby Wax. Ruby completed an MSc in Psychotherapy and a course in Neuroscience at UCL, and now runs workshops on creating a more direct level of communication with colleagues. Her sharp brain, wittiness and humour help get her important messages across. Popular industry speakers, Mike Lyon & Peter Rand will also be presenting.
Acting Marketing Manager, Julie Wright, commented on the pre-event build up: "With less than three weeks to go, we're now all set for the 2010 show. Registration numbers are up and there's a real buzz building for the event. This has been helped by some great special offers from exhibiting venues and a lot of interest in this year's seminar programme. It looks set to be a great day for all involved."
