Couples are being encouraged to enjoy the romantic side of Birmingham with a heart warming package from Conference Aston to celebrate the Valentine's weekend in style.
After completing a survey last year, the leading hotel and conferencing venue discovered that people from Birmingham were the most romantic in the country, making the city a perfect romantic getaway location.
Conference Aston asked 100 people each from London, Birmingham and Manchester if they would marry after only 6 months together and 47% of Brummies would tie the knot, where as only 39% of Manchunians and 32% of Londoners would say I do.
Christine Page, head of sales and marketing at Conference Aston introduced the Valentine's package in a bid to encourage people across the country to enjoy all of the things Birmingham has to offer.
"We have recently launched the ‘We Love Birmingham' guide which is packed full of recommendations from Conference Aston's own staff on the best places to eat, drink, visit and enjoy a romantic getaway in the UK's second city," Christine said.
"We are proud of our fantastic city and after finding it homes Britain's most loving people, thought we needed a way of showing just how romantic Birmingham can be, after all we do have more canals than Venice."
The deal offers dinner, bed and breakfast for two in one of its 162 rooms in its hotel located just minutes from the heart of Birmingham City Centre, all for just £49.00 per person.
And that's not all, to truly indulge in the amorous spirit, Conference Aston will also include a £25 voucher to be spent at Selfridges so you can treat your loved one in the city's renowned Bullring shopping centre.
"The Valentine's package lets couples enjoy the huge range of restaurants, theatres, bars, shopping and canals the city has to offer, without excessive cost or compromising on excellent accommodation," Christine continued.
And for any proposals over the Valentine's weekend Conference Aston has introduced an all inclusive wedding package at its Lakeside Centre venue allowing couples to enjoy an affordable wedding without compromising on style or quality.
