As the world's attention turns to East London as host of the 2012 Olympics, Queen Mary (QM), the academic venue nearest to the Olympic stadium, also steps into the spotlight with its new range of venues and facilities launched in January, under its commercial brand ‘Events & Hospitality QM'.
Recent additions include the newly built contemporary Humanities Building at Mile End and the Clark-Kennedy lecture theatre at Whitechapel. 2012 will also see the opening of the refurbished Great Hall, able to host up to 800 delegates.
The diverse selection of QM venues and services can be viewed on its new website, which has bespoke sections for different types of customers, as well as area for event delegates, addressing different information needs of these visitors and making all information relevant and easy to navigate. The website also provides information on local attractions and events.
