New Social Space Development for Conference Roehampton

New Social Space Development for Conference Roehampton
February 2011

Nestled between the historic buildings of Digby Stuart College and the listed gardens of Froebel, Roehampton University is set to add to its stunning campus with an open social space called the Digby Stuart Square.

Already boasting 54 acres of landscaped gardens, historic buildings and modern architecture alongside the glorious Richmond Park, the University will transform a former trade yard into a space designed to enable teaching and studying, the hosting of performances and events as well as social interactions or just resting and relaxation for students, staff and visitors.

The Square will deliver a radical improvement in the circulation at the heart of the Roehampton Lane campus between Digby Stuart and Froebel Colleges.

The appointed contractor is Exel Construction and they will commence work in early January with a view to completing the work in June 2011.
