The year has certainly started with a bang for Event Exeter
The team are celebrating their nomination for Best Academic Venue at this year\'s M&IT awards. Shortlisted alongside 3 other venues, Event Exeter have beaten off stiff competition from across the UK to make their first ever appearance as finalists.
The Meeting and Incentive Travel Awards is the oldest established awards programme recognising excellence in the meetings industry.
Sarah Snow, Assistant Director Campus Services (Sales and Events) said:

This is excellent news for a number of reasons, not least because our customers have voted for Event Exeter based on the fantastic service they have received. Our nomination just adds to the excitement that is building for an incredibly event-packed year to come for Event Exeter.\"
With the £48 million pound Forum development now taking shape and set to open later on this year, Event Exeter are delighted to have secured three large, high profile conferences who will be among the first events to be showcased in the outstanding, state-of-the art venue.
2012 is set to be an event-packed year with British Universities & Colleges Sport and National Union of Students having already chosen to bring their annual events to the University and now Event Exeter are thrilled to be able to announce that they will also be hosting the annual Citizens Advice Bureau conference in September.
