Venue Essex offers a wide range of en suite group accommodation for 6-1000 with free parking on the University of Essex Colchester campus. Located on the historic Wivenhoe Park, group accommodation is easily accessible by major road and rail links. Stansted Airport, Harwich and Felixstowe ports are within easy reach.

Group Accommodation (bedrooms for groups of 10 or more)

Offering group accommodation on its picturesque Wivenhoe Park campus, Venue Essex in Colchester (Britain's oldest recorded town) is an ideal base for exploring Constable Country. From July - September, group accommodation is provided in en suite, single study bedrooms. Flats range from 4 to 14 bedrooms with a ratio of four/six per communal kitchen. Many catering packages can be provided from B&B to full board. Groups have access to excellent meeting and sports facilities.

Wivenhoe House Hotel is the ideal venue to explore the East Anglian countryside with its outstanding coastline and wide open skies. Close to famous attractions including Beth Chatto Gardens, historic Wivenhoe House offers 3 star hotel comfort for groups of up to 45. Closing in January 2010 for a major refurbishment, Wivenhoe House will reopen in 2011 as a 4 star hotel combined with a world class training facility for the future leaders of the hospitality industry.
