The University is located within a dynamic lively city with a host of attractions, including Brunel's Clifton Suspension Bridge. Bristol offers numerous art galleries, museums and markets together with a wealth of parks and green spaces. Stylish cafes and bars line the rejuvenated harbour-side, home to Brunel's SS Great Britain
Group Accommodation (bedrooms for groups of 10 or more)
Group accommodation is available in the Halls of Residence in the summer vacation. Accommodation can be offered in modern architectural award winning flats in acres of listed gardens in elegant Georgian Clifton or Downsland settings north of the city.
Alternatively, catered accommodation is also available in bedrooms ranging from standard or en-suite student accommodation in the same locations. Tennis, squash courts, barbeque areas; laundry facilities are available.
Bristol's character as a city has been largely formed by its history of maritime trade and its development as the commercial and cultural centre for the South West. The River Avon runs through the city, with the historic City Docks as a focal point. Shops, pubs and cafes border the quayside in restored warehouses.
The location provides an excellent opportunity to tour the surrounding area including Bath, Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar, the Mendips, historic Gloucestershire and over the magnificent Severn Suspension Bridge to South Wales.
